The American Jewish Congress congratulates all those who earned the electorate’s trust in the New York primaries this week. Both incumbents and first-time candidates have now been called to respond to the moment and to the important expectations of the American people in a particularly difficult time for us all. We would like to especially congratulate Jamaal Bowman, Ritchie Torres, and Mondaire Jones, who ran impressive campaigns in their bids to represent New York’s 15th, 16th, and 17th congressional districts, respectively.
