May 15, 2025, New York, NY – As part of the American Jewish Congress’s historic mission to strengthen diplomatic ties between the United States, Israel, and nations around the globe, we are proud to share news of the visit by our President, Mr. Daniel Rosen, to Vietnam and his meeting with Vietnam’s head of state, His Excellency General Secretary To Lam.
Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies and a key voice in global institutions. As Israel continues to deepen its relationships across Asia, Vietnam’s rising influence presents a vital opportunity for cooperation.
In the meeting, General Secretary To Lam and Daniel Rosen discussed building bridges through Science Diplomacy, including ways to foster collaboration between young scientists and entrepreneurs from Vietnam and Israel.
This engagement in a critical Southeast Asian nation comes just weeks after Daniel Rosen’s official visit to Israel, where he met with Israel’s President, Foreign Minister, and other senior political leaders. These efforts reflect our broader commitment to expanding the presence, values, and alliances of both America and Israel in key regions during a time of major global transformation.
