Senator Slotkin has consistently expressed public support for Israel’s security and the U.S.-Israel alliance. She advocates for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, emphasizing the importance of a negotiated settlement that ensures peace and security for both Israelis and Palestinians. In January 2024, Slotkin stated, “A two-state solution has been official US policy for decades for a reason: because however far away it feels right now, it’s the only way to ensure Israel’s long-term security and preserve its identity as both a Jewish and democratic state.”

As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Slotkin supported legislation to oppose the antisemitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement that aims to delegitimize the state.

In 2025, Senator Slotkin co-sponsored the Antisemitism Awareness Act (S.558), which directs the Department of Education to consider the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of antisemitism when investigating discrimination complaints.

Slotkin supports continued U.S. security assistance to Israel. She has emphasized the strategic partnership between the two nations and the importance of Israel’s security in Middle Eastern stability. In April 2024, she stated, “I supported this bill, first, because Iran’s recent complex attack demonstrates that Israel’s security is under threat, and the U.S. must stand by our ally.”

Slotkin has advocated mandating Holocaust education as a tool to combat growing antisemitism and domestic terrorism.

Senator Slotkin has been a vocal supporter of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran Nuclear Deal. In a 2024 Senate debate, she described herself as a committed Iran hawk, stating, “I know intimately what it’s like to have Iranian terrorism kill my friends.”
