Senator Murray supported the Iran nuclear deal arguing that it was “the best chance at a strong diplomatic solution, it puts us in a stronger position no matter what Iran chooses to do, and it keeps all of our options on the table if Iran does not hold up their end of the bargain.”
In 2019, Senator Murray voted for the Strengthening America’s Middle East Security Act which, among other things, strengthens Israel’s security and allows a state or local government to adopt measures to divest its assets from entities that boycott Israel. She is a supporter of the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In July 2019, Senator Murray cosponsored a resolution that opposes the delegitimization of Israel and the global BDS movement.
