He has supported security assistance to Israel to help the only democracy in the Middle East face the many challenges and malignant actors in the region.

Rep. McCaul opposes the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and has argued that BDS wants to “exclude, isolate, and ultimately destroy Israel” and that it “is not about equality and peace, but about undermining the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.”
Rep. McCaul has introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives the Strengthening America’s Security in the Middle East Act of 2019 which, similarly to the identical bill that was passed in the Senate, strengthens Israel’s security and allows a state or local government to adopt measures to divest its assets from entities that boycott Israel.
