The American Jewish Congress welcomes the bipartisan initiative of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Chris Coons (D-Del.) to push for enhanced American-Israeli partnerships in the fight against COVID-19. Israel is a leader in the medical field, with incredible contributions that have benefited the entire world. Increased cooperation between American companies and their Israeli counterparts could potentially lead to important advances in the efforts to defeat the disease.
We thank Sen. Cruz and Sen. Coons for their leadership and look forward to increased international cooperation in face of the current health crisis.
