Through a letter to the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relationss, the American Jewish Congress is calling for the quick confirmation of Tony Blinken as the country’s next Secretary of State.
The American Jewish community is deeply focused on the state of America’s position in the world. A leading America means both a safe America for our citizens and for our allies, such as Israel.
We believe that the President-elect deserves to have his core national security team on-board as soon as possible to manage multiple pressing issues.
